They typically have the popular cases and motherboards here in stock today. And if you need some thermal paste and don’t want to wait days this is a good place to get it.

Frys was known for selling computers and other electronics. However, the were having problems and went bankrupt in 2021. They did have a wide selection of parts to choose from. I remember fondly going there and getting everything I needed in 1 store to make a computer. But you cannot do that here anymore.

MicroCenter is dedicated to computers and electronics. The company has a wide selection of computer parts, including motherboards, processors/CPUs, drives and storage, controller and expansion cards, air and water cooling, and much more. Where to buy Computer Parts at Walmart?

Walmart does have some computer parts, such as replacement chargers, keyboards, replacement mouse, and HDMI connectors. However, for more technical parts, it would be best to check another option.  If you are looking for less technical parts as mentioned above, you can simply go to walmart.com and type in the exact computer part you are looking for. For example, if you need a new charger, you would find the search option on the website and type in the name of your computer with “replacement charger” next to it. You can either order online or go right in the store to find the item you’re looking for. You can then see if the part is available locally or if it is for online ordering only. But beware that Walmart.com has what is called marketplace where other companies sell the item on their site and handle the shipping. The shipping times and returns will be different on those parts.

One of my personal favorites is Newegg and they have a lot of parts. And one of the best reasons to shop at Newegg is the passionate intelligent computer experts that leave awesome detailed reviews. They really make the difference at times for me knowing if I want an item or need to keep shopping. Their prices are very aggresive and if you want to shop for 2TB SSDs and don’t care what brand you might find something on sale. There is also their famous “Shell Shockers” which are items on sale that change daily at midnight Pacific time.
